Compliance Confidence: Altair Global’s Supplier Partner Network Recognized as Low-Risk

Each year, Altair Global conducts a rigorous risk assessment of its global supply chain. More than 160 questions cover 20 topic areas, designed to give Altair a robust look at each supplier partner’s compliance and risk mitigation efforts. We’re pleased to share that 97% of Altair’s global network was identified as low-risk in the most recent survey.

Our clients trust Altair with caring for their employees (our customers) through each relocation and assignment, and that work includes everything from technology integrations to handling personal identifiable information (PII) to making green choices in travel and housing. Altair takes our role as caretakers of sensitive information very seriously and ensures that our high standards are met by our global network of third-party supplier partners.

The Assessment

In 2018, Altair launched a comprehensive assessment to truly assess our supply chain strength and understand the risk level of our supplier network. The annual risk assessment process is managed through CENTRL, an industry-leading compliance management technology. Each preferred partner must answer 164 questions, split into 20 categories. Our questions cover:

  • Software application security
  • Incident event and communications management
  • Security policy
  • Compliance and privacy
  • Cloud security
  • Mobile applications
  • Certifications
  • Business resiliency
  • Finance
  • Environmental Social Governance (ESG)
  • …and many more

Altair is proud to share that 97% of our supplier partner network is rated low-risk. Further, in 2023 we added an ESG section to the assessment. The most recent survey showed that 77% of our supplier network has fully implemented and 23% have partially implemented ESG initiatives and reporting into their business processes – we’re proud to say that not a single partner surveyed has yet to begin this work.

For any suppliers deemed high-risk, they are restricted from doing business with Altair, 90-day action plans are created, and the partner must show improvement in order to remain in-network with Altair going forward.

Our annual risk assessment and supplier partner experience coaching efforts demonstrate Altair’s stringent standards for maintaining security and compliance, which in turn protects Altair and, most importantly, our clients and customers.
