Altair Global’s Mickey Calantropio Honored with WERC Distinguished Service Award
Here at Altair Global, we pride ourselves on being engrained and innovative in the relocation industry, and that includes our team members’ involvement with industry organizations. That’s why we’re happy to share that Mickey Calantropio, VP of Client Partner Experience at Altair Global, has been honored with a Distinguished Service Award from WERC, the workforce mobility association.
The WERC Service Recognition Awards Program has been celebrating members who generously share their time, skills, and insights to benefit the association since 1989. These awards highlight the remarkable commitment of individuals who contribute significantly to the organization. Mickey’s achievement of the Distinguished Service Award, earned through the accumulation of 25 service points, perfectly aligns with her passion for communication and connection within the global mobility industry.
Adding to Her List of Mobility Accomplishments
It comes as no surprise that Mickey, an Altair team member with numerous hours of dedication to her client partners and industry as a whole, would receive this honor—in fact, this marks her second Distinguished award, having received her first back in 2018. Additionally, Mickey also received a Meritorious Service Award from WERC 10 years ago in 2014, which is granted by the organization after 10 accumulated service points.
Her association with WERC dates back over a decade, to 2009, and her journey has been marked by exceptional contributions, including serving on several WERC committees, such as the Global Workforce Symposium (GWS) Task Force, the Form Assembly Committee, and most recently the GWS Planning Committee and WERC Compliance Policy Forum this year.
“I love working with WERC representing Altair Global. It’s been an honor to be an active participant in important industry conversations, and I appreciate the opportunity to connect and network with colleagues who have the common goal of continuously advancing the mobility industry.”
– Mickey Calantropio, Vice President of Client Partner Experience at Altair Global
This is Just the Start for Mickey!
With her running list of meritorious achievements, it’s only natural that Mickey has her sights on more accomplishments to come. She hopes to one day reach the Hall of Leaders, achieved by being given the Distinguished Service Award four times, to which she aptly says is “a pretty big deal.” Altair’s own Rob Johnson reached this high achievement years before his retirement.
If you see Mickey at WERC GWS this week, be sure to say hello and congratulate her on a job well done! Her achievement reflects the commitment and passion that define our Altair Global team, and we couldn’t be prouder of her accomplishments.
